About OctChemClub

What is
October Chemistry Club?

OctChemistryClub exists to radically transform how young scientists engage with chemistry. We treat the subject not as memorizable facts, but as a living field of fascinating controversy, groundbreaking debate, and revolutionary discovery.

Through computational modeling, physical experimentation, and academic publishing, our members move beyond textbook contrainsts into real laboratories of scientific thought.

Critical Thinking Lab Experiments Research Publishing Competitions Peer Review Academic Writing

Research-First Culture

Every member is expectted to contribute original thought, whether through lab work, simulation, or written analysis.

Academic Publishing

Our magazine track publishes peer-reviewed articles written entirely by students, for students.

Competition Pipeline

CST and external competitons give members real pressure environments to sharpen their skills and earn recognition.

Voices from OctChemClub Members

What our leaders and alumni say about the club experience.

"

Those late-night sessions debugging a molecular simulation, then watching the structure fold exactly as predicted, that's the moment chemistry transformed from a subject into a calling. OctChemClub doesn't teach chemistry only; it makes you live it.

"

CST 2026 is everything I dreamed of building. Watching students defend research to real professors, perform lab work under genuine pressure, it's not a school competition, it's a proving ground. The culture here is unlike anything in traditional education.

"

We built OctChemClub to prove that high school students can produce research and ideas that genuinely matter. The shift from passive learners to people who question everything, that's the whole point. We exist to build the next generation of scientific thinkers.
